『 蛇 』
その独特の形態から特別視され、『ヒュギエイアの杯』『アスクレピオスの杖』『ナーガ』『ユルング』等のシンボルとして 世界中で神聖化されてきた蛇。
この日本においては 特別な場所には必ずと言っていいほどある“注連縄”が「蛇の交尾」を基にしているといわれていますし、「白い蛇を見ると 幸せになれる」といった民間信仰も古くから存在します。
蛇自体は日本独自のものではありませんが、『鱗模様の緻密さ』で Made in japan を表現しております。
All over the world, Snake has symbolic religious meaning as its unique shape and existence, namely『Bowl of Hygieia 』『Rod of Asclepius』『Nāga』『Yurlungur』
In Japan, you can find Shimenawa (rope used to cordon off consecrated areas or as a talisman against evil) at many special places such as Temple etc. This Shimenawa is believed that its shape is based on making love of two snakes. Some Japanese people also believe that good luck comes if you see white snake. Snake itself is not Japanese unique figure, but I tried reach Japanese Quality by applying very, but VERY detailed scale curved on my silver works.
